VALUATION PROFESSIONALS

Value Prism Consulting has several openings for valuation professionals in the Atlanta office at the following levels:

  • Managers
  • Senior Consultants
  • Consultants

Professionals will perform valuation analyses of public and closely held entities, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments for variety of purposes. Specifically, consultants will be required to independently:

  • Conduct client interviews and gather data from the client as well as from secondary research sources
  • Prepare valuation analysis utilizing all accepted and relevant approaches
  • Prepare client deliverables consisting of Excel models, Word and PowerPoint documents
  • Ensure quality control of work product

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • 1-5 years of relevant valuation experience
  • Undergraduate degree in business or an MBA degree
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of tax and accounting pronouncements requiring valuation opinions
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on client deadlines
  • Progress towards achievement of valuation designations such as ASA or CFA designation is a plus

 

BANKRUPTCY VALUATION SERVICE PROFESSIONALS

Value Prism Consulting is looking for experienced bankruptcy valuation professionals for its Atlanta office. Professionals will perform valuation analyses of publicly traded and closely held entities, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments related to restructuring and/or bankruptcy proceedings for variety of purposes.

 

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • 3-5 years of relevant bankruptcy valuation experience

  • Proven track record in developing and managing client relationships leading to new and repeat engagements

  • An MBA degree

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of tax and accounting pronouncements requiring valuation opinions

  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on client deadlines

  • Progress towards achievement of restructuring or valuation designations such as CIRA or CFA designation is a plus

 

BUSINESS CASE CONSULTANTS

Value Prism Consulting has several openings for consultants experienced in conducting effective business cases. Consultants will work with clients to analyze current business processes, focusing on the impact of technology, and perform operational and financial analyses presenting findings to client’s senior management. Specifically, consultants will be required to independently:

  • Conduct client interviews and gather data from the client as well as from secondary research sources
  • Prepare current state report
  • Identify gaps in the current state and outline potential future state
  • Create a business case and cost/benefit analysis of moving from current to future state
  • Develop potentially complex financial analyses
  • Prepare client deliverables consisting of Excel models, Word, and PowerPoint documents
  • Participate in the development of new approaches and methodologies

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • 2-5 years of consulting experience
  • Undergraduate degree in technical or business area and an MBA degree
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand key business processes across industries
  • Ability to complete financial analysis
  • Familiarity with Gartner’s TVO and TCO, Forrester’s TEI and Microsoft’s REJ methodologies would be a plus
     

PROJECT MANAGERS

Value Prism delivers high-quality business research and analysis, and is looking for an individual who can help manage and coordinate multiple engagements, communicate with client sponsors and their customers, and assist with Value Prism business activities with our high-tech clients. A Value Prism Project Manager learns quickly, works effectively with minimal direction, juggles many tasks, focuses on details, is able to prioritize tasks, keeps cool under deadline, and communicates well with clients and team-mates. This position requires superior communication and interpersonal skills, as well as familiarity with technology and the Web. Primary duties include managing on-time delivery of several engagements, researching new business opportunities, coordinating day-to-day tasks, scheduling interviews and reviews, and researching information.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide meeting facilitation, project planning, presentation preparation, budgeting, and project financial management.

  • Provide comprehensive life-cycle project planning and project prioritization.

  • Provide administrative, clerical, and documentation functions to include scheduling, status reporting, problem identification, analysis and resolution.

  • Provide contractual and financial analysis support of project functions.

  • Develop business cases and perform analysis ensuring fiscally responsible solutions.
    Candidate should be capable of leading software product/service provider selection projects from both a project management and technical perspective and have experience writing and eliciting requirements, statements of work (SOWs), and selection criteria.

  • Meet agreed client deadlines and proactively manage client expectations.

  • Identify and attend/review appropriate training courses/informational materials.

Required Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 2+ years experience with project management life cycle activities including planning, designing, implementing and maintaining systems or infrastructure facilities

  • Ability to recognize and evaluate problems, determine best resolution to problem and ability to implement solutions.

  • 2+ years experience financial analysis experience including developing business cases, maintaining and developing budgets and performing cost analysis preferred.

  • Planning organization, coordination and customer focus skills.

  • Project management experience with a large management consulting firm or high-tech clients or employers, such as Microsoft, Dell, Intel, SAP, preferred

  • Superior problem-solving, prioritization and organizational skills; a self-starter, someone who takes initiative

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to easily introduce, engage and converse with new people

  • Must have the ability to act independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel required; experience with other Microsoft technologies including MS Project, Visio and SharePoint desirable.

  • Enthusiastic, positive “can do” attitude.
