Value Prism Consulting is a management consulting firm with an immediate opening for experienced Technical Writers for both in-house and client projects. We are looking for an individual who can take complex problems, break them down, and create original content; who is interested in technology and business; and enjoys learning about new products and services.

 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will be required to follow a development process for all projects covering:  Planning, Writing, Storyboarding, Approvals, and Delivery

  • Must have experience conducting client interviews with SMEs either in person or over the phone for content gathering purposes

  • Must have the aptitude to quickly learn about new client products and solutions

 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • 2+ years business writing experience with writing samples

  • Position will participate in writing marketing and sales content and collateral our clients

  • Must have the ability to conduct research; internalize information; and write about business, solutions, and technologies articulately

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to take a project from concept through production

  • Must be able to take constructive client feedback to deliver high quality and customer satisfaction

  • Solid MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel

  • Excellent time and project management skills, and able to effectively prioritize daily deliverables

  • Professional attitude, great interpersonal skills; contribute positively to a team dynamic, but also with ability to work independently

  • Must have an understanding of business and marketing functions

  • Hardware technical expertise, with experience in the technology industry preferred

  • Web development, portal design, and SharePoint development expertise preferred
